At the ballpark the Santa Fe Trailer Bitches outscored the Chainsaw
Proctologists in 15 innings 8 to 5.
The score was knotted at 5 after nine innings. Santa Fe came out the victor
in the 15th inning. After an out was recorded, Ian Kinsler started the rally
when he lined a base-hit. Jerry Hairston Jr stepped into the batter's box
and he popped a two-run clout over the fence (his 3rd of the season). Chris
Snyder then slapped a single, and an error was also committed. Adam Jones
was a strikeout victim, unable to help out. Todd Helton stepped into the box
and delivered a single. Fernando Tatis joined his teammates in the uprising
and drew a walk. Stephen Drew followed and he drew a walk to load the bases.
For the game Santa Fe out-hit Chainsaw 18 to 11.
The victory went to David Bush(3-2) who went 2 and 1/3 innings, allowing no
runs. Dallas Braden(0-3) took the loss in relief. Santa Fe scored big
getting 3 runs off him in 2 innings.
